Practice debates
Every week the LSE Debate Society runs a practice
debate, which is usually traditional IV format (i.e., 2 teams on each side
of the proposition, 5 min. per speech, etc.). The teams and proposition
are chosen a couple of days before the debate. If you want to debate,
email Robert Sams.
ULU debate workshops
The University of London Union Debate Society
runs a great weekly workshop attended by debaters from many University
of London colleges. Anyone from the LSE Debate Society can show up,
and they usually serve FREE WINE. Go to the University of London
building on the corner of Malet St. and Torrington Pl. (Ask the reception
for the room number, for it changes weekly.)

ULU Debate Competition
The University of London Union Debate Society
will run a small weekly debate competition, starting in the middle of February.
LSE will send one or two teams per week. If you want to debate for
the LSE, email Robert Sams.
